Day 49: Rome
Today we woke up at 9 had breakfast then went on our journey around Rome. We walked from our hotel to the Via del Corso this is a parallel street that is mainly for shopping.
Then we walked to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish stairs. We saw some other famous statues while we walked around the shops. The Trevi fountain was still under construction which was annoying because it was surrounded by a glass fence which was so dirty you would try to get a good photo and it would be so murky.
We then walked back at 4:30 to hotel got ready for dinner. We had dinner at 7 and then walked by the fountain to get ice creams. It was still so busy.
Rome looks completely different during the night. people tend to have dinner later than at home. So everywhere was buzzing with people and the shops were still open.
We walked back to the hotel and got back pretty late and our feet were pretty sore from walking all day.
