Day 40: Jo burg
I can't believe today is the last day of the trip!! This trip has gone by so quickly. It still is a 6 hour drive to head to Jo burg.
We stopped off to have lunch at this place called Appaloosa. There was a super market there and lots of food places such as Nandos or Spurs a african franchise. The cool thing about this place is that there is a little national park outside so when your going to the toilet you can see rhinos and buffalos looking outside the glass. Yay we saw another one of the big 5 animals today a buffalo. After we got food we then continued our journey to Jo burg.
We finally arrived at a hotel called the Mo Africa Lodge. This is where everyone from the tour is staying the last night of the tour. Except us because we didn't know that it ended up being there so we booked accommodation at another place. I'm glad we did choose a different place just because it was so far away from everything and the airport.
Our hotel was called the premier hotel O.R Tambo. We didn't get there until 5:30 because it took around half an hour from Mo Africa lodge. The hotel was a huge place and it was absolutely beautiful was probably the best hotel I have seen in a while and to top it off it was pretty cheap as well. The hotel was like 100 times better than the casino crown we have back in Perth. It was so nice to finish off the tour and to just jump straight onto a bed.
We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner which was Devine!!
We couldn't have too much of a late night because we have to check in at the airport early tomorrow!
