Day 3: Giza
Today we had to check out of the Le Meredian hotel and hitch it all the way down the street (just joking it was a 3 minute drive) to our new hotel called Giza pyramids hotel. When we first arrived it looked pretty run down but the view from the window of the pyramid was incredible!! I spent most the day staring outside the window looking at people selling things in the street. The hotel is right near traffic lights and a main intersection so all you can hear are cars and trucks tooting their horns. It does get quite annoying while your trying to sleep.

We had to wait till 7pm to meet up with our top deck instructor. His name is Ramzy and he seems like a pretty decent guy. He ran us through what we were doing the next few days. There are three different tours running together so we had the option to jump on a cruise for $150 US for three nights which was pretty good and we aren't missing out on anything more like we get the opportunity to experience more like sailing the Nile and checking out two extra temples which sound awesome.
So tomorrow we will be looking at the Egyptian museum and looking at Mummies. We will also look at the pyramids of Giza and going inside one of them. I will keep you posted on what we will be doing tomorrow.
