Day 21: Zanzibar
Today we woke up at 8am to be out of the hotel room for 9 am to go snorkelling. We met our guide at a dower boat which was going to take us to two of the best snorkel spots in Zanzibar. We only spent half an hour in the water each time because it was starting to get really cold and it also started to rain. We got back to the hotel for 11 and ran to our room to have a nice hot shower.
The rest of the day we just relaxed staying warm. Then at 4:30 the group went to a Turtle aquarium. This was incredible we got to swim with the turtles and feed them seaweed. Swimming with them was a pretty freaky experience they would come out of no where and just slap you with their fins. A few times they slapped me on the bum and I kept thinking it was just Andrew being a seed but nope it was the seedy turtles hahha. I brought my go pro and thought the photos would have turned out really well but the water was too merky and most the photos were too blurry which was annoying!!
After visiting the turtles we went back to the hotel and decided we wanted to watch the sunset at the beach in front of our hotel. It was stunning!! The water was pretty warm and it was so still.
We then decided we wanted to go for dinner at the restaurant next to our hotel because we got Abit sick of our hotel food. But honestly I was Abit disappointed with that as well and it was more expensive than the one at our hotel! We started dinner at 7 and we didn't leave till 9:30 the wait for food was so long!!

When we got back to our hotel room we had to pack up our belongings Because we are catching a ferry to go to Dare slam.
Tomorrow we will leave Zanzibar and head on our journey around Tanzania and the rest of the tour.
