Day Thirty

Day 30: Zambia 

Today we woke up nice and early didn't have breakfast because we just wanted to pack our tents and just jump straight on the bus to fall asleep. We woke up at 5 to get on the bus for 5:30 am. Then we had breakfast at 9am and had to make ourselves packed lunches.

Todays bus ride was around about 12 hours. When we were driving on the bumpy dirt road we drove past another acacia truck. There were only 6 people on this truck. I wondered if it was the people that would be joining us when we get to Victoria falls but I'm pretty sure it's not them.

The truck drive was going so slowly and it wasn't like we could sleep on the truck because there are always bumps on the road if its speed bumps or pot holes it's not really comfortable and were stuck on here all day :/ 

I really hate days like this where you could be doing something but instead you have to just listen to your iPod and stair outside a window all day.

We arrived at the campsite for 6pm and set up our tents. While we were setting up our tents a girl told me that there were about 6 zebras roaming around the camp ground. I quickly left Andrew to fend for him him self with the tent and grabbed my camera. It was incredible there was a baby zebra which was very timid but I still managed to get some awesome shots!!

we then had to help out prepping food for dinner. While we were eating we got our itinerary for tomorrow. Tomorrow we are heading to Livingstone it is quite a long drive so have to wake up early again. Now we are just chilling out at the bar. There are two televisions, pool table and a dart board which Andrew is happy about. The bar is pretty cool there are flags hanging from the ceiling and it is made of wood beams and sticks. 

Oh well excited for another big drive tomorrow woohhh :/ xx
