Day 20: Zanzibar
This morning we woke up and had breakfast. We had a short introduction of members while having breakfast but when we were checking out of this hotel we met them properly they seem like a decent bunch of people. There are more girls than boys again hahha don't think Andrew is pretty happy about this :P
Today we are heading off to a beach resort we are staying here for a few nights. All 10 of us have to fit in a small van. It's a slightly bigger group than we had an Egypt. We then headed to a pace called sunset bungalow.
We finally arrived at our bungalow It was Like an hour drive from Stone-town.
We waited in reception to get our room key and we got room number 63! It was incredible we were upstairs and the view from the balcony was awesome!!
We met up with the tour guide Elton at 12 to have lunch and have a introduction meeting. This is where he told us about how it's going to work while we are camping. He assigned us into groups of 2 and one has 3. We have different duties each day eg cooking, packing , cleaning and washing up.
After the meeting we headed back to the hotel room to relax. Then we decided we wanted to go for a walk among the beach.
We all decided we wanted to do a sunset boat ride on a dower boat. The drinks were provided so most the people were trying to have their money worth in drinks. It was pretty nice there was a small upper deck you could sit on and relax.
After the boat ride we then had dinner and then sat around a camp fire with another group of people they were all from England.
Today was pretty good, I feel like I will get along with the people in the group. I don't know why I was so nervous about meeting them.
