Day 23: Mikumi NP
Today we had to make sure we got up early to pack up our tents and be ready for breakfast at 8. Everyone was pretty much eating at 7:30 so we were ready to drive away at 8:30 instead of when we were meant to be leaving at 9. Today we are heading to another camp site called Kisolanza farm house It is around an 8 hour drive. We are staying here for 1 night.
We stopped half way through the road trip to have a buffet lunch. They also sold some really yummy ice creams and they were super cheap! Once we finished lunch headed back on the truck to get to the camp site around 6:30. When we were driving through the Mikumi national park to the camp site we saw elephants, zebras and antelopes in the wild. It was so cool and made the last hours go quickly!!
Once we arrived at the camp site we had to pitch our tents then do our duties we had washing up duty so basically washing any utensils used for dinner.
After dinner we sat in the truck and just talked. Now heading to bed because we have another big day driving tomorrow wooh :/
